Seaside Seagulls (Seaside, OR) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Valley Catholic Valiants (Beaverton, OR), 10-0 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Seaside advances its record to 5-11 on the season. The Seagulls travel to Astoria (Astoria, OR) to battle the Fishermen in a 4A Cowapa match on Wednesday, May 7. The Fishermen come into the match with a record of 5-12. Astoria lost 4-1 in their recent league match against Tillamook (Tillamook, OR)

The Valiants now have a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rainier for a 3A-SD1 Special District 1 match on Monday, May 5. Valley Catholic will battle a Columbians squad coming off a 19-1 league loss to Horizon Christian (Tualatin, OR). The Columbians record now stands at 4-15.
