Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Moline Maroons (Moline, IL), 4-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Hononegah upgrades its record to 8-2 on the year. The Indians host Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL) to play the Blue Thunder in a non-league game on Friday, May 9. The Blue Thunder enter the game with a record of 2-4.

The Maroons now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Pekin for a non-league game on Monday, May 5.
