The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL) and the host Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL), saw Hampshire's baseball team beat Hononegah by a margin of 9-4.
The Whip-Purs (17-9) will now prepare for their battle against Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL). The Chargers go into the challenge with a 4-1 record.
With the defeat, Hononegah drops to 4-6 on the year. The Indians host Belvidere (Belvidere, IL) to clash with the Bucs in a challenge on Wednesday, May 21. The Bucs go into the challenge with a record of 8-10.
