The Dover Tigers triumphed over the visiting Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Saturday's league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Newton Braves (Newton, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 5. Dover will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Braves enter the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 14-2 non-league loss to North Hunterdon (Annandale, NJ).
The Panthers (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Parsippany (Parsippany, NJ). The Redhawks enter the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Parsippany was routed by Butler (Butler, NJ), 8-2, in a non-league challenge.
