St. Mary Eagles (Lake Leelanau, MI) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Glen Lake Lakers (Maple City, MI), 11-6 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, St. Mary improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Eagles host Onekama (Onekama, MI) to play the Portagers in a non-league game on Monday, May 5. The Portagers enter the game with a record of 5-2.
The Lakers now hold a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mesick for a non-league game on Saturday, May 3.
