Indiana High School Softball - Logansport held off by Lowell

In Saturday's non-league test, the Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN) softball squad got by the visiting Logansport Berries (Logansport, IN), by a tally of 2-1.

Next, the Red Devils clash with the La Porte Slicers (La Porte, IN) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 3. Lowell will attempt to advance on its 12-4 season record. The Slicers go into the test with a 7-9 record after their 9-2 league loss to Chesterton (Chesterton, IN).

The Berries (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Elkhart (Elkhart, IN). The Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Elkhart was nudged by South Bend Saint Joseph (South Bend, IN), 8-7, in a league challenge.
