Michigan High School Softball - Marian edges Notre Dame Academy

In Saturday's league match, the host Marian Mustangs softball team scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Notre Dame Academy Eagles.
The Mustangs (7-6) will now prepare for their match against Notre Dame Academy (Toledo, OH). The Eagles go into the Three Rivers Athletic match with a 9-10 record. In their last match, Notre Dame Academy tipped University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI), 6-5, in a league match.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Marian Mustangs (Bloomfield Hills, MI) in a Catholic AA match, on Saturday, May 3. Notre Dame Academy will attempt to better on its 9-12 season record. The Mustangs go into the match with a 5-6 record after their 10-0 league loss to Central Catholic (Toledo, OH).
