The crowd at Saturday's league bout between the Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI) and the visiting Mott Corsairs (Waterford, MI), observed Walled Lake Central's softball team notch a victory over Mott by a tally of 20-8.

The Vikings (9-4) will now prepare for their bout against Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI). The Knights go into the Lakes Valley bout with a 9-4 record. In their last bout, Walled Lake Northern gained a win over Goodrich (Goodrich, MI), 8-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Corsairs battle the Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI) in a Lakes Valley bout, on Tuesday, May 6. Mott will attempt to advance on its 1-15 season record. The Mavericks go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Lakeland (White Lake, MI).
