The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Romeo Bulldogs (Romeo, MI) and the visiting Utica Chieftains (Utica, MI), observed Romeo's softball team notch a victory over Utica by a tally of 10-2.

The Bulldogs (11-6) will now prepare for their bout against Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI). The Big Reds go into the Macomb Area - Red bout with a 8-8 record. In their last bout, Chippewa Valley was routed by Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI), 10-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Chieftains battle the Utica Eisenhower Eagles (Shelby Township, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 5. Utica will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 11-0 league loss to Dakota (Macomb, MI).
