California High School Softball - Truckee succumbs to South Tahoe

May 3, 2025: Truckee, CA 96161

In Saturday's league test, the South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Truckee Wolverines (Truckee, CA), by a tally of 20-12.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) in a non-league test, on Thursday, May 8. South Tahoe will attempt to advance on its 12-13 season record. The Vaqueros go into the test with a 23-8 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Hug (Reno, NV).

The Wolverines (7-18) will now prepare for their test against Loyalton (Loyalton, CA). The Grizzlies go into the non-league test with a 10-12 record. In their last test, Loyalton was routed by Portola (Portola, CA), 16-15, in a non-league test.
