West Valley Wolf Pack (Fairbanks, AK) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Wasilla Warriors (Wasilla, AK), 13-5 in a league game.

With the triumph, West Valley upgrades its record to 2-5 on the year. The Wolf Pack host Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK) to play the Malemutes in a Railbelt game on Wednesday, May 7. The Malemutes enter the game with a record of 2-7.

The Warriors now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they host Juneau-Douglas for a non-league game on Friday, May 16. Wasilla will play a Crimson Bears squad coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to Ketchikan (Ketchikan, AK). The Crimson Bears record now stands at 10-8.
