Spectators at Monday's league battle between the Houlton Shiretowners (Houlton, ME) and the visiting Washington Academy Raiders (East Machias, ME), saw Houlton's baseball squad beat Washington Academy by a margin of 4-0.
Coming up next, the Shiretowners play the Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME) in a Class C North battle, on Tuesday, May 31. Houlton will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Lynx enter the battle with a 9-7 record after their 6-5 league win over George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME).
The Raiders now sport a 7-9 record.
