The Southern Aroostook Warriors routed the host Fort Fairfield Tigers softball squad by a final score of 25-4 in Monday's league battle.
The Warriors (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Ashland (Ashland, ME). The Hornets go into the Class D North battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Ashland notched a victory over Fort Kent (Fort Kent, ME), 13-9, in a non-league battle.
The Tigers now possess a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Hodgdon for a Class D North battle on Tuesday, May 31. Fort Fairfield will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 19-9 league win over Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME). The Hawks record now stands at 6-2.
