Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA) and the visiting Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA), saw Amherst County's baseball squad edge Glass by a margin of 2-1.

Coming up next, the Lancers play the Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, June 1. Amherst County will attempt to better on its 19-3 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 16-4 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA).
