Bayonne Bees (Bayonne, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Westfield Blue Devils (Westfield, NJ), 14-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Bayonne upgrades its record to 22-5 on the season. The Bees travel to Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, NJ) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, June 2. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 24-5. Bridgewater-Raritan won 10-9 in their recent non-league test against Woodbridge (Woodbridge, NJ)
With the defeat, Westfield falls to 12-8 on the season.
