The Sanford Spartans lacrosse team scored 19 points and limited the host Westbrook Blue Blazes to 2 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Spartans (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Portland (Portland, ME). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Portland was overwhelmed by Falmouth (Falmouth, ME), 12-4, in a league test.

In their next game, the Blue Blazes face the Traip Rangers (Kittery, ME) in a non-league test, on Thursday, June 1. Westbrook will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Rangers come into the test with a 4-8 record after their 11-6 league loss to Wells (Wells, ME).
