The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Simsbury Trojans (Simsbury, CT) and the host Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT), saw Simsbury's lacrosse team top Pomperaug by a margin of 16-7.
The Trojans (16-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 15-5 record. In their last challenge, Amity Regional beat Warde (Fairfield, CT), 17-6, in a non-league challenge.
