Delran Bears (Delran, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bordentown Scotties (Bordentown, NJ), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Bears now own a 16-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johnson for a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 1. Delran will battle a Crusaders squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 18-11.

With the loss, Bordentown falls to 13-12 on the campaign.
