Massachusetts High School Softball - Westfield bounces East Longmeadow

The Westfield Bombers routed the visiting East Longmeadow Spartans softball squad by a count of 6-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Bombers (17-3) will now prepare for their battle against Agawam (Agawam, MA). The Brownies go into the PVIAC - Valley battle with a 10-12 record. In their last battle, Agawam nudged Lynn Classical (Lynn, MA), 13-4, in a non-league battle.
The Spartans now sport a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to Reading Memorial for a non-league battle on Saturday, June 1. East Longmeadow will meet a Rockets squad coming off a 8-6 non-league win over North Reading (North Reading, MA). The Rockets record now stands at 15-4.
