The Interstate 35 Roadrunners softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Woodward-Granger Hawks to 6 in the Roadrunners league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Interstate 35 improves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Roadrunners host Clarke (Osceola, IA) to clash with the Indians in a non-league game on Saturday, June 1. The Indians come into the game with a record of 1-5. Clarke won 9-7 in their recent non-league game against Davis County (Bloomfield, IA)

In their next game, the Hawks clash with the Panorama Panthers (Panora, IA) in a West Central game, on Friday, May 31. Woodward-Granger will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 3-3 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Van Meter (Van Meter, IA).
