In Friday's league game, the visiting Forest City Indians baseball team scored a close 4-1 win over the North Union Warriors.

The Indians (4-1) will now prepare for their game against North Iowa (Buffalo Center, IA). The Bison go into the Top of Iowa - West game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, North Iowa by Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS (Clarion, IA), 18-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Warriors play the Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titans (Ruthven, IA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, June 3. North Union will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Titans go into the game with a 1-3 record after their 16-1 non-league loss to Spirit Lake (Spirit Lake, IA).
