The Western International Cowboys baseball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting King Crusaders to 1 in the Cowboys league win on Friday.
The Cowboys now hold a 21-10 record. They take the field next when they host Cass Tech for a non-league test on Friday, May 30. Western International will play a Technicians team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Fordson (Dearborn, MI). The Technicians record now stands at 27-9.
With the defeat, King drops to 4-14 on the year.
