The Pocahontas Indians baseball team scored 17 runs and held the host South Central Calhoun Titans to 3 in the Indians league win on Friday.
The Indians now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Spirit Lake for a non-league test on Tuesday, June 3.
With the defeat, South Central Calhoun drops to 2-4 on the year. The Titans travel to Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA) to play the Titans in a Twin Lakes test on Wednesday, June 4. The Titans go into the test with a record of 1-3.
