The Nelson County Governors soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Dan River Wildcats to 0 in the Governors non-league victory on Friday.
The Governors now hold a 16-0 record. They play next when they host Radford for a non-league bout on Tuesday, June 3. Nelson County will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Bobcats record now stands at 13-3.
With the loss, Dan River moves to 5-9 on the year.
