The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA) and the host Nevada Cubs (Nevada, IA), observed Greene County's softball team prevail over Nevada by a tally of 13-1.

The Rams (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Ogden (Ogden, IA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Ogden knocked off Interstate 35 (Truro, IA), 7-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cubs battle the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA) in a Heart of Iowa bout, on Monday, June 2. Nevada will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 11-4 non-league win over Grand View Christian (Des Moines, IA).
