Iowa High School Softball - Newman Catholic bounces Nashua-Plainfield

In Friday's league match, the visiting Newman Catholic Knights softball team scored a nice 13-0 victory over the Nashua-Plainfield Huskies.
The Knights (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Don Bosco (Gilbertville, IA). The Dons go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Don Bosco gained a win over Rockford (Rockford, IA), 8-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Huskies battle the St. Ansgar Saints (St. Ansgar, IA) in a Top of Iowa-East match, on Wednesday, June 4. Nashua-Plainfield will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record.
