The Stevens Point Panthers routed the host Marshfield Tigers softball squad by a count of 7-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Panthers (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Superior (Superior, WI). The Spartans go into the non-league battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Superior nudged Chippewa Falls (Chippewa Falls, WI), 5-2, in a non-league battle.
The Tigers now sport a 4-1 record.
