Skowhegan River Hawks (Skowhegan, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Oxford Hills Vikings (South Paris, ME), 16-5 in a league challenge.

The River Hawks now own a 13-1 record.

With the loss, Oxford Hills falls to 11-5 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Poland (Poland, ME) to clash with the Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, June 4. The Knights come into the game with a record of 20-1. Poland won 11-0 in their recent league game against Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME)
