Rhode Island High School Baseball - La Salle Academy defeats Cumberland

May 31, 2024: Cumberland, RI 02864

La Salle Academy Rams (Providence, RI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI), 8-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, La Salle Academy upgrades its record to 14-10 on the season. The Rams travel to South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI) to battle the Rebels in a non-league test on Sunday, June 2. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 18-6. South Kingstown won 6-4 in their recent non-league test against Cumberland (Cumberland, RI)

With the defeat, Cumberland falls to 14-7 on the season.
