The St. Edmond Gaels softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets to 0 in the Gaels non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, St. Edmond improves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Gaels travel to Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league game on Saturday, June 1. The Crusaders come into the game with a record of 4-2. Bishop Heelan Catholic won 14-0 in their recent league game against Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA)

In their next game, the Cadets clash with the Hampton-Dumont/CAL (Hampton, IA) in a non-league game, on Monday, June 3. Iowa Falls-Alden will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
