Iowa High School Baseball - Fairfield holds off Moravia

In Saturday's non-league game, the host Fairfield Trojans baseball team scored a close 9-5 win over the Moravia Mohawks.
The Trojans (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA). The Panthers go into the Southeast game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Mt. Pleasant was overwhelmed by Muscatine (Muscatine, IA), 11-8, in a non-league game.
Next, the Mohawks play the Davis County Mustangs (Bloomfield, IA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 31. Moravia will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Mustangs go into the game with a 2-3 record after their 11-6 league loss to Centerville (Centerville, IA).
