Niles Vikings (Niles, MI) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Lakeshore Lancers (Stevensville, MI), 2-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Niles advances its record to 28-6 on the season. The Vikings travel to Three Rivers (Three Rivers, MI) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league match on Wednesday, June 4. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 20-13.

The Lancers now have a 22-8 record.
