The Clarinda Cardinals triumphed over the visiting Earlham Cardinals softball squad by a count of 14-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals play the Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA) in a Hawkeye 10 challenge, on Monday, June 2. Clarinda will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 21-11 non-league win over Greene County (Jefferson, IA).
The Cardinals (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA). The Trojans enter the West Central challenge with a 2-1 record.
