The Streator Bulldogs softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Wilmington Wildcats to 7 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Streator improves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Ottawa (Ottawa, IL) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league game on Thursday, May 6. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 9-1. Ottawa won 3-0 in their recent league game against Kaneland (Maple Park, IL)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) in a Illinois Central Eight game, on Friday, May 7. Wilmington will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Comets come into the game with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Wilmington (Wilmington, IL).
