The Gladstone Braves crushed the visiting Marquette Redmen baseball team by a tally of 11-3 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Braves now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Escanaba for a Great Northern U.P. bout on Friday, May 6. Gladstone will face a Eskymos team coming off a 9-1 league win over Negaunee (Negaunee, MI). The Eskymos record now stands at 6-3.
Next, the Redmen face the Rudyard Bulldogs (Rudyard, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 7. Marquette will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 4-4 record after their 13-0 league win over Newberry (Newberry, MI).
