In Wednesday's league game, the host Riverview Pirates baseball team scored a nice 12-4 victory over the Jefferson Bears.
The Pirates (11-2) will now prepare for their game against Howell (Howell, MI). The Highlanders go into the non-league game with a 11-2 record. In their last game, Howell overcame Brighton (Brighton, MI), 5-4, in a league game.
The Bears (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Erie-Mason (Erie, MI). The Eagles go into the Tri-County game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Erie-Mason was overwhelmed by Blissfield (Blissfield, MI), 4-3, in a non-league game.
