In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting St. Joseph Cadets volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers.

The Cadets now have a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westhill for a Fairfield County game on Friday, May 6. St. Joseph will meet a Vikings team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT). The Vikings record now stands at 9-4.

The Hilltoppers (2-10) will now prepare for their game against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT). The Tigers enter the Fairfield County game with a 8-2 record. In their last game, Ridgefield was nudged by New Canaan (New Canaan, CT), 3-2, in a league game.
