The Northtown Pumas topped the host Chicago Hope Academy volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Wednesday's league test.

The Pumas now have a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cristo Rey Jesuit for a Chicago Prep test on Friday, May 6. Northtown will confront a Cristeros team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Rochelle Zell Jewish (Deerfield, IL). The Cristeros record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, Chicago Hope Academy moves to 1-7 on the year. The host Walther Christian Academy (Melrose Park, IL) to battle the Broncos in a Chicago Prep contest on Thursday, May 5. The Broncos go into the contest with a record of 8-6. Walther Christian Academy won 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Ridgewood (Norridge, IL)
