The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) and the visiting Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC), saw Western Alamance's soccer squad knock off Cedar Ridge by a count of 2-0.

The Warriors now hold a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Person for a Central 3A test on Thursday, May 5. Western Alamance will meet a Rockets squad coming off a 9-0 league loss to Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC). The Rockets record now stands at 1-14.

With the loss, Cedar Ridge drops to 6-9 on the season. The Fighting red wolves host Williams (Burlington, NC) to meet the Bulldogs in a Central 3A test on Monday, May 9. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 10-5. Williams lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC)
