In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Cristo Rey St. Martin Knights soccer squad scored a close 6-0 triumph over the North Chicago Warhawks.

The Knights (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against St. Edward (Elgin, IL). The Green Wave come into the non-league battle with a 5-11 record. In their last battle, St. Edward was overwhelmed by Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL), 7-0, in a league outing.

In their next game, the Warhawks battle the Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL) in a Northern Lake County outing, on Thursday, May 5. North Chicago will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 4-5 record after their 1-1 league Wauconda (Wauconda, IL).
