Plainfield Quakers (Plainfield, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Perry Meridian Falcons (Indianapolis, IN), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Quakers now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Brownsburg for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 5. Plainfield will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Carmel (Carmel, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Perry Meridian falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Falcons host Whiteland (Whiteland, IN) to battle the Warriors in a challenge on Tuesday, May 10. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Whiteland lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Decatur Central (Indianapolis, IN)
