The Auburn Eagles soccer team scored 2 points and limited the host Giles Spartans to 1 in the Eagles league victory on Wednesday.
Next, the Eagles face the Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA) in a Mountain Empire contest, on Wednesday, May 11. Auburn will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record.
The Spartans now have a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Galax for a Mountain Empire contest on Monday, May 9. Giles will face a Maroon Tide team coming off a 6-1 league win over Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Maroon Tide record now stands at 6-6.
