Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Taylor County Cardinals (Campbellsville, KY) and the visiting Adair County Indians (Columbia, KY), witnessed Taylor County's softball squad tip Adair County by a count of 8-4.

The Cardinals now sport a 19-15 record. They play next when they travel to Green County for a non-league match on Thursday, May 5. Taylor County will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Meade County (Brandenburg, KY). The Dragons record now stands at 33-16.

With the loss, Adair County moves to 26-22 on the season. The Indians travel to John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Thursday, May 5.
