Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) and the host Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL), witnessed South Elgin's softball squad prevail over Aurora East by a count of 19-0.

The Storm now sport a 17-4 record. They play next when they travel to Elgin for a Upstate Eight match on Thursday, May 5. South Elgin will face a Maroons squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Larkin (Elgin, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 2-16.

With the loss, Aurora East moves to 1-9 on the season. The Tomcats host Glenbard East (Lombard, IL) to face the Rams in a Upstate Eight match on Thursday, May 5. The Rams go into the match with a record of 8-12. Glenbard East won 15-3 in their recent league match against Fenton (Bensenville, IL)
