The Batavia Bulldogs softball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Wilmington Hurricane to 2 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Batavia improves its record to 9-7 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Clinton-Massie (Clarksville, OH) to clash with the Falcons in a Southern Buckeye AA - American game on Thursday, May 5. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 4-8. Clinton-Massie lost 7-3 in their recent league game against Western Brown (Mt. Orab, OH)

In their next game, the Hurricane clash with the Blanchester Wildcats (Blanchester, OH) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 5. Wilmington will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 6-6 record after their 10-2 league loss to Williamsburg (Williamsburg, OH).
