The Danville Admirals got by the visiting Berea Pirates softball squad by a final score of 12-11 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Admirals (4-16) will now prepare for their battle against West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Colts go into the non-league battle with a 16-9 record. In their last battle, West Jessamine was edged by Bryan Station (Lexington, KY), 9-6, in a non-league battle.
The Pirates now possess a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Model for a District 44 battle on Thursday, May 5. Berea will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Frankfort (Frankfort, KY). The Patriots record now stands at 13-16.
