The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the Greater New Bedford RVT Bears (New Bedford, MA) and the visiting Bourne Canalmen (Bourne, MA), saw Greater New Bedford RVT's softball squad achieve victory over Bourne by a count of 16-1.
The Bears now sport a 14-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Apponequet Regional for a South Coast match on Friday, May 6. Greater New Bedford RVT will face a Lakers squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Old Rochester Regional (Mattapoisett, MA). The Lakers record now stands at 5-7.
With the loss, Bourne falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Canalmen travel to Seekonk (Seekonk, MA) to face the Warriors in a South Coast match on Thursday, May 5. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 3-1.
