Kentucky High School Softball - Calloway County knocked off by Marshall County

May 4, 2022: Murray, KY 42071

In Wednesday's league contest, the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) softball team overwhelmed the host Calloway County Lakers (Murray, KY), by a margin of 11-3.

With the triumph, Marshall County moves its record to 34-26 on the year. The Marshals host Murray (Murray, KY) to play the Tigers in a District 4 contest on Friday, May 6. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 12-19.

In their next game, the Lakers play the Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 6. Calloway County will attempt to move on its 24-16 season record.
