The Cave Spring Knights overwhelmed the host Patrick Henry Patriots softball team by a score of 13-0 in Wednesday's league test.

Coming up next, the Knights encounter the Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) in a River Ridge test, on Friday, May 6. Cave Spring will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 8-8 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA).

The Patriots (1-12) will now prepare for their test against Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Blue Demons come into the River Ridge test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Christiansburg overcame Radford (Radford, VA), 15-1, in a non-league test.
