Pennsylvania High School Softball - Dallas nudges Wyoming Valley West

May 4, 2022: Dallas, PA 18612

Dallas Mountaineers (Dallas, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Wyoming Valley West Spartans (Plymouth, PA), 8-7 in a league challenge.

The Mountaineers now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Tunkhannock for a Wyoming Valley 4 challenge on Thursday, May 5. Dallas will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 19-2 league win over Berwick (Berwick, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 12-4.

With the loss, Wyoming Valley West falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Berwick (Berwick, PA) to battle the Bulldogs in a Wyoming Valley 1 challenge on Friday, May 6. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 5-10. Berwick lost 19-2 in their recent league challenge against Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA)
